- First go to your cPanel account, and then login.
- After that, find out the Files section, and then here you can see the "File Manager" option.
- Simply click on it, and then you will be redirected to the File Manager page.
- Now go inside to the Public_html, and then select that folder which you want to access with password.
- Now right-click on the folder, and then here you can see the "Password Protect" option.
- Simply click on it, and then you will come to the next page.
- So on this page, select this "Password protect" option, and then you can see our directory path will automatically appear on here.
- Now click on this "Save" button, and then you can see our directory is successfully locked with password protect option.
- So now if you Go back, then here you can set the User and Password on your directory.
